Oncogenic Role of miRNA in Environmental Exposure to Plasticizers: A Systematic Review

نویسندگان

چکیده

The daily environmental exposure of humans to plasticizers may adversely affect human health, representing a global issue. altered expression microRNAs (miRNAs) plays an important pathogenic role in plasticizers. This systematic review summarizes recent findings showing the modified miRNAs cancer due Following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology, we performed literature published past 10 years, focusing on relationship between plasticizer related cancer. Starting with 535 records, 17 articles were included. results support hypothesis that causes changes or deregulation number oncogenic show interaction several redundant miRNAs, such as let-7f, let-7g, miR-125b, miR-134, miR-146a, miR-22, miR-192, miR-222, miR-26a, miR-26b, miR-27b, miR-296, miR-324, miR-335, miR-122, miR-23b, miR-200, miR-29a, miR-21, might induce deep alterations. These genotoxic responses can eventually lead abnormal cell signaling pathways metabolic participate many overlapping cellular processes, evaluation miRNA-level be useful target toxicological assessment pollutants, including plastic additives
